Building Outside the Box
Partnership for Sustainable Building
Building Outside the Box (BOB) was initiated by the Cumberland River Compact as a broad coalition of agencies, non profits, and business interests who have come together to demonstrate and promote the use of sustainable building and restoration practices that benefit people, business and the water quality in the Cumberland River Watershed.
BOB Project Sites
BOB currently has four different project sites showcasing sustainable building practices as well as stream restoration techniques. The BOB committee will follow the progress on each site, documenting not only the building and restoration work being done, but how sustainable building practices impact the water quality at the site.
The sites represent a cross-section of the diverse landscapes and environments found in the Cumberland River Watershed. Follow the links below to learn more about each site and the work being done and return often to see our progress.
